Rue Vivienne, where this brand-new hotel in Paris's 2nd arrondissement is anchored, follows the trail of the Bourse and Bibliothèque de France. Hôtel Filigrane is loosely inspired by the many treasures associated with these two institutions: encrypted banknotes for the former, literature for the latter. Its contemporary appeal borrows the riches and lines of these historical treasures in a meticulous layering of graphic aesthetics.
