A family restaurant with over 70 years of history; in fact, it is now run by the third generation! It boasts an excellent location on the outskirts of town, in an attractive chalet-style house with a terrace and two private car parks. Inside, there are two distinct areas: La Cruïlla, for an affordable daily set menu, and El Portal Vell, with a more upmarket feel and a glass-fronted kitchen so you can observe the chefs as they work. The menu, with a distinctly Catalan flavour, is complemented by two set menus (Vega and Seasonal).

Dos Cuiners, which boasts a central location and a relaxed industrial decor, is, as the name suggests, run by two chefs, Òscar Pérez and Mar Arnalot, the latter in charge of desserts. Their cuisine is centred around a menu of small plates/“raciones” perfect for sharing, enabling guests to taste a larger number of dishes (they recommend 3 or 4), with a continual focus on contemporary Catalan cooking with a hint of fusion influence. They also offer a good-value-for-money lunchtime menu, an interesting “Pica Pica” option (a minimum of two people), plus a more gastronomic menu.
