A terrific modern concept that would also be right at home in Vienna or Munich! This restaurant is to be found in the exclusive Schlosshotel at an altitude of 1 436m. The sophisticated and upscale decor is done out in a palette of elegant dark tones and the atmosphere is lively. Executive Chef Klaus Kneringer and Josef Schöndorfer are in charge of the kitchen. Highlights include the "Big Cuts", meat beautifully grilled in the Big Green Egg – the Porterhouse from Austria or the Tomahawk from the US are tempting options. Experience the cuisine in all its finesse by ordering the four- or six-cour

Housed in Das Marent hotel, this stylish fine dining restaurant with its modern Alpine-inspired decor fully lives up to the name. Brothers Alexander and Christian Marent pour their heart and soul into providing their guests with a memorable dining experience. Crafted with meticulous care and high-quality ingredients, the dishes of chef Christian Marent showcase a creative fusion of regional and international flavours. The Tyrolean salmon trout with radish and saffron vinegar, and the rack of lamb with chorizo, black-eyed beans, sweetcorn and jalapeño are fine examples of this successful blend

First things first: be sure to book, because the Bouvier family's small restaurant has just four tables (hence the name "BOU4"). Junior manager and maître d' Julian Bouvier attentively hosts a maximum of 14 diners. Chef Christoph Gschwendtner also joins in front of house, proud to personally present his creations at the table. His cooking leans towards classic French cuisine, with Asian or Levantine accents adding variety. The dishes are elaborate and technical, as you will see from the get-go with the array of appetisers. Diners can opt for a four- or six-course format of the set menu, the di

A friendly atmosphere reigns in this family-run guesthouse and restaurant, and that is largely down to owner Barbara Falkeis, who is responsible for the cordial and attentive service. Her husband Rudolf cooks Austrian classics such as Kauner Graukassuppe (a traditional Tyrolean "grey cheese" soup) or Zwiebelrostbraten (Alpine beef with onions) roast potatoes and vegetables. Popular desserts include Kaiserschmarrn (shredded pancake) and crêpes. Game hunted in the environs and lamb from the region are among the local ingredients that go into the carefully prepared dishes. The wine list includes regional and international classics. Optionally you can order the wine pairings devised to accompany the set menu.
