Thomas Scheucher's restaurant champions a pleasingly pared-back take on classic cuisine that highlights top-quality ingredients and delivers full flavour with charming simplicity. The menu features dishes such as vitello tonnato made from Andelsbuch veal topside and garnished with caper blossoms, and Lake Constance whitefish fillet with aubergine relish, lime and basil broth, and olive gnocchi. The decor is both tasteful and inviting, with modern artwork and designer lamps adding a touch of elegance. Floor-to-ceiling windows look out onto the garden, where a lovely terrace is set up in summer.

The popularity of this place is down to the pleasant combination of café and brasserie, the great location in the centre of the old town – and the delicious food.
