Set in a charming village, tucked away in a narrow street, this trendy bistro is accommodated in an attractive old house adopted by a well-travelled couple… They – she is the "artiste" and he the "cuisinier" (or cook) – invite us to sample their contemporary bistronomy cuisine in a friendly, pleasant setting. Following the seasons, their menu draws its bold flavours from the produce of local suppliers. On the restaurant floor, the service is efficient and the wine list is well explained. At the foot of the Brézème hills, this restaurant housed in a light-filled farmhouse on a winegrowing estate is a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. Chef Teddy Bidaux's modern and inspired cuisine is served in a dining room with picture windows giving onto the vineyards: glazed carabinero prawn with a full-bodied jus, sea bass fillet and veal marrow in an original surf 'n' turf dish, Fin Gras du Mézenc beef shoulder accompanied by puff potatoes. The excellent house-made breads are the perfect accompaniment to delicious food made with a personal touch and many local and organic ingredients.
