A small gem of a restaurant housed in an old farmhouse adorned with beautiful drapes and decorations. Although there’s a new chef here, the long family tradition of regional cuisine (mainly meat dishes and game) remains unchanged, with a large spit for roasting meat in the fireplace in the main dining room.

Situated in a charming small town criss-crossed by canals, this restaurant serves traditionally inspired fish-based dishes. The restaurant stands on the port facing the fish market, so it’s no surprise that the fish served here is of the freshest quality.

This restaurant is justifiably renowned for two specialities – firstly, its wide selection of cured hams including the famous Friuli prosciuttos as well as hams from further afield; and secondly, dishes (mainly meat sourced from Italy and further afield, although fish also features) cooked on the barbecue grill.

Proud champion of local cuisine, along with more classic dishes, with a unique touch: the menu is written in Friulian dialect as well as Italian. Aromas of the woods and sea hover around the tables, with succulent meats – including game – and the freshest fish. Don't miss the cjarsons ravioli, delicious little morsels available in both sweet and savoury versions. The restaurant boasts an extensive wine cellar, and the scent of truffles reigns supreme on a dedicated menu in season.
