甜蜜的乐巢酒店

Located on Montmartre’s hill, this joint sports an elegant, minimalist interior that celebrates the aesthetic codes of Japanese restaurants: light wooden furnishings, a long counter and an amazing origami-inspired ceiling by an interior design firm. Chizuko Kimura and the Sushi master Takeshi Morooka pursue the legacy of Shunei Kimura, who made this eatery such a success. The omakase menu comes in two versions, which must be chosen when you book. Both embark the diner on a genuine sensorial experience courtesy of razor-sharp nigiris, a truly exceptional selection of fish, expert handiwork and

The house spirit reigns supreme in this intimate fine dining restaurant with six tables and a confidential feel. Suffice to say, chef Arthur Dubois – who has clocked up experience in the restaurants of Jacques Maximin, Éric Frechon and Pierre Gagnaire, where he was sous-chef for several years – is in the business of the bespoke. Carefully selected ingredients, tried and tested know-how, impeccable technique: the chef is a dab hand at putting a new spin on classic cuisine. Indeed, the influence of his mentor on rue Balzac makes itself felt in his penchant for "satellite" variations on a theme,

Le Bristol is the quintessence of luxury, from its spa suites and superb formal garden to its rooftop pool and dining area with Louis XVI furnishings, mirrors, and tall French windows looking out onto the greenery. In the kitchen of the flagship restaurant, Arnaud Faye errs towards minimalism with his light and refined preparations – a purity of flavours that does not preclude generosity in the dishes. The ingredients are of course excellent, the cooking techniques and temperatures flawless; the bread is made on the premises from heirloom wheat varieties, the sauces are light yet highly concen

The faham is an orchid native to the island of Réunion, famous for its subtle almond scent. Kelly Rangama (2017 Top Chef contestant) chose this flower to symbolise her civil and culinary union with pastry chef Jérôme Devreese and their joint creation: this sleek, elegant restaurant tucked away in the Batignolles district. Here the chef rolls out a culinary patchwork that abounds in vibrancy and delicacy, spicy but always subtle, with an exotic edge that makes all the difference. An example: tandoori-style monkfish, followed by a wickedly decadent poached rhubarb, ginger and mango sorbet and a

In this intimate, dinky restaurant in a swanky neighbourhood, the bubbly kitchen team is helmed by chef Arthur Dubois (Maison Dubois). You can expect an exclusive experience in a pared-back contemporary setting: only five tables and a muted ambience reminiscent of a luxury hotel. Fresh, modern cuisine focused on first-class produce, enhanced by lavish, robust, highly technical and traditionally inspired sauces. Slick, seamless service.

Stéphanie Le Quellec makes no secret of her aim to "deconsecrate haute cuisine" courtesy of a generous gourmet ethos in which each dish tells a story. Her menus, which are comprised of varying numbers of courses, or "acts", may appear simple but every last detail has been endlessly puzzled over and her big-boned sauces are often enhanced by vintage sherry vinegar. Among her signature dishes is an iconic red mullet, the recipe of which she is constantly tweaking. The vibe is casual, both in the kitchen and dining room, and diners are invited to enjoy the present moment to the full. Warm seamles

Just a well-heeled step from the Champs-Élysées, this restaurant is set in the swish, swanky La Réserve, a 19C Napoleon III-style mansion refurbished by renowned interior designer, Jacques Garcia. The dining room is clad in magnificent materials, such as Spanish gilt leather and Versailles parquet flooring. Jérôme Banctel affirms his distinctive culinary personality with two tasting menus: "Virée", a tribute to his native Brittany, and "Périple", an invitation to travel the world – taking in Japan, as well as Turkey, where the chef discovered the incomparable textures produced by cooking in li
