This lovely neighbourhood restaurant sits in a small village in the Bükk Mountains and is run by charming couple Adam and Luca. It couldn’t be a bigger part of the community. Not only does it reside in Adam’s home village, but the locals get involved by growing produce for them – and that's without considering the host of events on offer, from live music and guest chef evenings to seasonal Farmers' Markets. The generously proportioned, country-style dishes change with the seasons and use every part of the ingredient. In summer, sit on the decked terrace; in winter, cosy up beside the fire.

Anyukám Mondta is everything a good neighbourhood restaurant should be. It offers something to appeal to everyone, while prices cover a wide range to suit all occasions. Excellent produce is prepared with care, resulting in hearty, flavoursome dishes, and service is smooth, well-paced and comes with plenty of personality. The Andrássy Kúria & Spa hotel sits within a 200-year-old manor house once used as a hunting lodge by the Andrássy family, and the warmly run talu restaurant occupies its impressive vaulted cellar – as well as spilling out onto its terrace in the warmer months.
