MacGregor's at Whisky Vaults Hotel in Oban is a specialized boutique destination for spirits enthusiasts, set in a historic 1870s building. The Rooms: The hotel offers 10 uniquely styled en-suite rooms, ranging from Cozy Doubles to Superior Kings. While the building lacks a lift, the rooms are modern and well-appointed with power showers and "grab-and-go" breakfast bags. The Whisky Bar: Located on-site, the bar is a haven for collectors. It features hundreds of Scotch whiskies, including rare expressions from the local Oban Distillery and specialized "vault" selections. Whisky Shows & Music: A core part of the experience is the interactive whisky shows and tastings (like the "Secret of Casks"). The venue is also a hub for live culture, hosting regular traditional Scottish music sessions and storytelling events.
