Creative, Classic French · ★★ Michelin

Since taking over the culinary reins from Joachim Wissler, Dennis Kuckuck, his long-time sous-chef and trusted colleague, has continued to uphold the high standards of this elegant fine dining restaurant. The cuisine, based on the French classics and rounded out with modern influences, is a real treat for diners – think wonderfully tender, poached and lightly flambéed winter cod, served with salmon roe and a buttery vin jaune sauce with savoury spruce shoot oil. Japanese, Modern Cuisine · ★ Michelin

The name of this restaurant fuses the Japanese word "yu" and the Italian word "unico", hinting at the food served here. "Yunico" is also a reference to the uniquely high culinary standards they uphold. Situated on the top floor of the Kameha Grand lifestyle hotel, thanks to its floor-to-ceiling windows the restaurant affords a fantastic view of the Rhine – a view which is of course even better from the terrace. Then there is the smart, high-quality decor, all done out in red, black and white, as well as the experienced and well-coordinated front-of-house team. Head chef Christian Sturm-Willms

The craftsmanship on display and the quality of the produce impress in equal measure – a case in point is the Dieppe scallops with a fruity, tangy pineapple vinaigrette, finished with a delicate mace-infused foam. Each dish is also
