Its guests will be just a 5-minute drive from Xiamen Railway Station and a 20-minute one from the Xiamen Gaoqi Airport. Business travellers will need around 30 minutes by car to reach the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Centre, but those who are looking to explore the sights of the city will be at just a 10-minute drive from the Huangu Ferry Marina and the Zhongshan Pedestrian Street. The latter is a traditional Chinese shopping street but with a bit European flair and is next to the Taiwan snack street, a great option for little Taiwanese treat. With a modern décor and carpeted flooring the hotel offers a comfortable and cosy experience. Its guests can relax with a procedure from the spa and wellness centre or request a soothing massage to chase the stress away.

Ever since this neighbourhood joint opened its doors in 1996, there have only been four items on the menu – ginger duck stew, duck gizzards, blanched leafy greens and steamed rice. In the most famous restaurant for ginger duck in the whole of Xiamen, rows and rows of claypots containing local Muscovy duck and old ginger sizzle in rice wine and sesame oil, exuding addictive aromas. The duck gizzards tend to run out, so come early.
