In the gardens of the Hotel Laurin, a refined glasshouse bathed in soft lighting and furnished with just a few tables creates an intimate and romantic candlelit atmosphere (booking recommended). In the kitchen, a Neapolitan chef delivers creative cuisine that blends local ingredients and Neapolitan influences, including vegetarian and meat dishes. The menu offers signature dishes and tasting menus of 3, 6 or 8 courses (the last being a surprise, chosen by the chef). In the magnificent setting of the exclusive Parkhotel Laurin, this restaurant is one of the best in Bolzano, boasting a Liberty-style dining room and tree-shaded tables in the garden for summer dining. The traditional cuisine also includes a few modern touches with ingredients and techniques from all over Italy and beyond, such as the grilled trout and leek terrine wrapped in nori algae in the shape of a flower. The menu features meat and fish dishes, with a small section dedicated to traditional local specialities.

This building has been home to a restaurant since the 16C, making it one of the oldest in Bolzano. Today, it houses an elegant restaurant that serves a combination of traditional Alpine cuisine and classic Italian dishes with a contemporary twist, such as carbonara tortelloni filled with parmesan cream and crispy bacon. The attractive wine cellar boasts a selection of approximately 1 000 wines from the region and elsewhere in Italy, as well as a choice of labels from further afield.

Despite its simple appearance, this restaurant on the side of the road dates from the 17C and has been run by the same family for the past century. Today, the third and fourth generations work side by side in the kitchen, preparing dishes with a strong regional flavour. Highlights include the white Terlano asparagus in season and offal dishes throughout the year.
