The restaurant at the wonderful Schlosshotel Münchhausen, a stately home dating back to 1570, is both elegant and informal. The modern-inspired classic cuisine is served in the form of a four- or five-course menu as well as an à la carte selection. The experience begins in the foyer with an aperitif and amuse-bouches, prepared in front of you. When it comes to the setting, the lovingly decorated vaulted cellar is really cosy, and the terrace by the castle pond is fantastic! The seasonal cuisine is in a regional vein, ranging from classic Wiener schnitzel to roasted fillet of sea bass with a rosehip foam. They are also open at lunchtime, which is excellent news.
