Hotel Seepark, which enjoys an enchanting location on Lake Thun, boasts not only stylish accommodation but also impressive dining options. In the evening, this small, tastefully designed restaurant serves a modern, seasonal tasting menu comprising five or seven courses. There is a theme or short story behind each dish, such as "Scandinavian Flavours", "Root of Life", "The Call of Lake Thun" or "Dry-Aged Pork at its Finest". Ambitious young head chef Sascha Spring and his charming team present each dish at the table in detail. The chef's table in the kitchen is available for private dining by p

This establishment has been run by the Fuchs family for 40 years, and these days, it is Rolf and Manuela Fuchs who are in charge. The modern, elegant restaurant atop Hartlisberg boasts not only a chic atmosphere but also a truly magnificent view of Thun and the mountains – the terrace is wonderful! The chef-patron's cuisine is no less of a draw. It is modern and clearly structured, yet classical in its foundations, making for bold and expressive dishes that are pared back to the essentials and packed with vibrant flavours. The four- or five-course set menu can be extended by up to two "surpris

At the restaurant of the Hotel Eden Spiez, diners can savour classic cuisine that showcases regional and seasonal produce including homegrown fruit and berries. The hotel also has its own herb garden. Take in stunning views of Spiez Castle, Spiez Bay and the imposing mountains from the stylishly elegant interior or the covered terrace – both spaces are equally delightful. A shorter menu is available at lunchtime.

This charming family-run establishment has been going for 40 years. With Manuela and Rolf Fuchs at the helm, it proposes this bistro as an attractive alternative to their fine dining restaurant Cayenne. The excellent food is moderately priced: ostensibly simple dishes are crafted with care and premium ingredients, consistently featuring a modern twist. Local sourcing and seasonality are key – and you can really taste the difference! Friendly and adept service. Both restaurants share the same wine list. The wonderful views are best enjoyed from the tables by the windows or on the splendid terra

The name says it all! The location at an altitude of over 1 000m makes for a fantastic panoramic view of the surrounding mountains – it would be a crime not to enjoy it from the terrace in summer. The Rindisbachers have been running their establishment since 1985 already, serving food influenced by tradition, made with quality ingredients and paired with good wines. The pasta is manufactured in their own workshop. Panoteca sells delicatessen wares.
