The restaurant of this family-run chalet hotel presents an interesting concept in a friendly atmosphere. Classic cuisine is on offer at lunchtime and in the evening; in addition there is a lunch deal and a "close-to-nature" gourmet set menu every evening from Tue to Sat. The top-notch ingredients are almost exclusively sourced locally, many of them harvested by the chefs themselves.

This restaurant serves flavoursome traditional cuisine made from local produce à la carte or in the form of an ambitious set menu comprising three, four or five courses. There are also appetising options for two, such as Chateaubriand. Berner Haus, which first appears in records as a tavern in 1542, makes for an enchanting setting with its charming wood-panelled interior. The lovely old turquoise tiled stove, adorned with Langenthal porcelain, provides comforting warmth in the winter months.

At the restaurant of the Hotel Eden Spiez, diners can savour classic cuisine that showcases regional and seasonal produce including homegrown fruit and berries. The hotel also has its own herb garden. Take in stunning views of Spiez Castle, Spiez Bay and the imposing mountains from the stylishly elegant interior or the covered terrace – both spaces are equally delightful.
