The romantic lakeside location is an attraction in itself – here on the shore of Tristachersee, the dedicated Kreuzer family run both the lovely hotel and the restaurant. The dining space is inviting; the winter garden extending out over the water is wonderful – in summer it gets turned into a terrace! The menu draws on good-quality, mostly local produce – char, trout, Danube salmon etc are from their own fish ponds nearby. They serve various set menus and an à la carte selection. The hotel also has its own spring water, which is offered free of charge throughout the premises.
