With its sleek decor done out in burgundy and white and contemporary artwork on the walls, Tollius has an inviting feel. This is also down to chef Barry's expertise in producing hearty classics such as his wonderfully crispy pithivier filled with a rich combination of quail, foie gras and morels. But he is just as adept at whipping up a surprisingly zesty modern dessert involving wasabi and a lemon gel. If the extensive wine list is anything to go by, this place is certainly run by people with excellent taste.
