Fox & Hounds
There's a pleasantly rustic feel to this welcoming high street pub sporting low beams and wooden furnishings. Classical dishes form the basis of the extensive menu, with tried-and-tested combinations like asparagus with hollandaise sauce proving a success. There's also a Mediterranean influence to the hearty cooking, plus the option of rare breed beef cooked over the Josper grill.
