At the highest point of the town, in Gabicce Monte, a short tunnel with porthole windows leads to a lift and from there to the restaurant: an enchanting terrace (enclosed by glass walls when the weather demands) commanding views over the sea and the surrounding hills. Posillipo’s superb fish dishes have made the restaurant a must in the region, with options ranging from raw fish to traditional pasta specialities and delicious main courses (fish fillets, catch of the day, fried options etc). There’s also a tempting dessert trolley and an excellent wine list.
