The location here is truly amazing, within the grounds of Třeboň’s wonderfully restored castle, which you should definitely explore before or after your meal (there are shops, cafés etc). Or soak up the peace and quiet at the lake as you take in the view. The restaurant specialises in fish – try the carp chips (kapří hranolky) with mushroom and dill sauce, for which they are famous. The restaurant is pleasingly pared back, and some tables afford an interesting view over the pass into the kitchen. They source all ingredients from the region and, wherever possible, process these themselves. You can clearly see their sustainability concept in action here.
