This unassuming restaurant within a mock-Tudor hotel makes for the perfect pitstop when travelling along the east-to-west A2 highway. High-quality meat is the focus, with beef dry aged in display cabinets, but keep an eye out too for interesting side dishes such as beetroot with blue cheese and hazelnuts or carrots with chilli and miso. The noteworthy wine list offers a global selection and it’s worth asking the knowledgeable sommelier for advice.
