It's clear that Christian and Christa Storch put their heart and soul into running this place. The chef-patron wins over diners with his modern take on classic cuisine. Eschewing any gimmickry, he lays the focus squarely on quality produce and flavour. The lady of the house manages the friendly and attentive waitstaff. Having been renovated following the disastrous floods of 2021, this restaurant gives off an impression of classical elegance. A 13C church with a gallery forms the core of the establishment. There are also two other attractive dining spaces (called Alte Lay and Walporzheimer Himmelchen). The delightful terrace to the rear of the building offers a view of the greenery.
