Little wonder, then, that we recommend his marine preparations: the pisarei with shellfish or the fish soup brimming with tomato, crustaceans, mussels, cuttlefish, and the day’s catch. In fine weather, make a point of securing a table on the terrace, an evocative setting steeped in history and the timeless charm of the ancient convent.

Today this venue offers simple, traditional Piacenza cooking, where guests can enjoy excellent cured meats accompanied by vegetables from the restaurant’s own garden, fresh homemade pasta dishes, and main courses that also include offal preparations. 官网This classic-style restaurant with a recently renovated dining room is situated on the street that runs through the village of San Nicolò. Although the menu features some meat dishes (on Sundays in winter, this includes specialities such as boiled meats, preceded by anolini pasta in broth and ending with typical desserts such as ciambella cake with zabaione), it is particularly renowned for its wide selection of fish dishes. At lunchtime during the week, there’s a choice of simpler recipes, but if you ask, staff will be happy to offer you the longer evening menu.
