A family-run restaurant with a superb location overlooking the port, where the quality of ingredients is always to the fore, especially in terms of its shellfish (oysters of different sizes, clams, cockles etc) and superb fresh fish, meat and rice dishes (the rice with sea urchins and Cambados scallops is a delight). For the best views, make sure you book a table by the picture windows.
官网Once in a while you come across a truly pleasant surprise in a rural setting run by chefs who have returned to their roots with the sole aim of showcasing what they have learnt elsewhere. This is definitely the case with couple Fernando and Eva, two cooks (although she is also in charge of the dining room service) who have restored her grandmother’s house and created their own vegetable garden (which also includes a greenhouse). Their contemporary cuisine has plenty of personality and is centred around a single seasonal vegetarian menu. We loved the roasted aubergines with miso!

Here, full homage is paid to the building’s history, with fish (grilled dishes are the only option) taking centre stage, although seafood and some meats are also available. The restaurant takes its name from the northeasterly wind (“nordés”) that is a frequent occurrence in the fishing waters of the Rías Baixas.
