The secret of Linde's success is a formula of classic Swiss cuisine made from good ingredients coupled with reasonable prices. A lively atmosphere reigns in this attractive, well-run place with its various dining spaces, large bar area and glassed-in kitchen. Steak tartare and Zürcher Geschnetzeltes (veal) are among the permanent fixtures on the menu. For lunch, the offer is somewhat reduced. The wonderful terrace comes into its own in summer, and there are well-kept guestrooms too.

At this exceedingly well-run establishment dating from the 19C, you have the option of dining in either a snug tavern or an elegant restaurant. The shady terrace to the rear of the building is delightful in summer! Adept service comes courtesy of a friendly and laid-back front-of-house team. The cuisine emphasises regional and seasonal elements. Among the menu classics, the Wiener schnitzel clearly stands out. In the evening, order à la carte or opt for a six-course set menu. Lunchtime options are more limited and budget-friendly.
