从机场到市区
新山主要机场是士乃国际机场（JHB），距市中心约22公里。最省事是出租车或Grab到新山市中心/JB Sentral，约30-45分钟。Causeway Link AA1机场巴士到JB Sentral，约45-60分钟加等车时间。无直达地铁或机场铁路。若从新加坡樟宜机场入境，可包车/跨境出租车，或先到Woodlands/Kranji再乘跨境巴士到JB CIQ/JB Sentral，通常约2-3小时以上，视通关排队而定。
市内出行
截至2026-06-20，新山有巴士、KTM列车、出租车/网约车，但市内地铁尚未运营；新山-新加坡RTS仍在建设。游客可把JB Sentral和Larkin Sentral当作交通节点，BAS.MY/Causeway Link巴士连接商场、郊区和新加坡。可用支持的Visa/Mastercard/NFC感应付款；若常坐Causeway Link可考虑ManjaLink卡。去丹加湾、Southkey、Mount Austin和依斯干达公主城，Grab通常更实用；周末和假日要预留堵车及通关时间。
