Unique details including colourful accents and modern art characterise the space. In summer, tables are laid out beneath the boughs of a walnut tree in the beautiful garden. In the grounds of Schloss Grafenegg, this restaurant is housed in what was once the castle tavern. It comprises a series of tastefully decorated, high-ceilinged rooms with beautiful hardwood flooring, large mullioned windows, chandeliers and classical paintings as well as the rustic and cosy Schlossstube. Tables are also laid out on the lovely terrace in front of the establishment. The friendly and attentive waitstaff serve up predominantly Austrian fare made with market-fresh produce – veal shank carpaccio or Topfenstrudel (curd cheese strudel) are examples of the tempting dishes on offer.

Right in the heart of the village, this tastefully restored historical estate houses a chic boutique hotel and an inviting restaurant. Lovely wooden floorboards, a rustic old wooden ceiling and mullioned windows blend seamlessly with modern decor to create a wonderfully atmospheric space. There is also a gorgeous terrace in the courtyard. You can choose between a four- to eight-course set menu and a small but carefully curated à la carte selection. Classics such as char with horseradish sauce or braised ox cheeks appear alongside more refined creations like venison with sweetcorn and hazelnut.
