This attractive winegrower's house dating back to 1747 stands in the centre of the town. Stefan Püngeler and his wife Michela De Munno – well-known figures in the region – have taken over the reins here after a successful run at Restaurant Schneider in Dernbach. He is in charge of the kitchen, and she is responsible for the friendly service. On the menu: flavoursome Italian fare – the house-made pasta is a particular highlight. The tiramisu, presented on a dessert trolley and freshly portioned tableside, is truly delicious. Rump steak – practically a staple in the region – is also available. T
