This unusual restaurant, located opposite the famous Alameda de Hércules, inside the small Corner House hotel, features two contemporary-style dining rooms plus a pleasant terrace. The seasonal menu is mainly based around local and Andalucian ingredients, although this is spiced up with the occasional influence from around the world (Asia, Mexico, USA etc). Some of the long-established dishes here have evolved from the owners’ past ventures, such as the popular “huevos estrellados” from the erstwhile El Gallinero de Sandra restaurant.

A restaurant with a relaxed, informal feel and an industrial-style decor in Seville’s historic quarter, where sections on the menu entitled The Preliminaries, Sharing is Living, Carnal Temptations, and From the Cantabrian Sea to the Mediterranean set the scene for what is to come. The restaurant describes itself as committed to “irreverent cuisine” in which fusion influences and Andalucian and Basque flavours all play their part. In the heart of Seville, on a pedestrian back street behind City Hall, this elegant bistro bears the same name as the street where it stands, a small tribute to the guild of children's shoe makers that once existed here (in times gone by, these shoes were called ‘chicarros’). Inside, with its sophisticated eclecticism, you will be offered a contemporary European-style menu with constant nods to Spanish produce (it features a section dedicated exclusively to caviar) and the option of a tasting menu. A modern, lively restaurant fronting one of the historic centre’s myriad small squares. The enticing display cabinet of different types of fresh fish, hake roe, prawns, squid etc (most of which is priced by weight) is a definite highlight here. The traditionally based cuisine with a contemporary touch is centred around ingredients sourced from the market and includes some superb daily specials. Many of the options on the menu can be ordered as half-portions. The tiramisú dessert is exquisite!

A restaurant with large glass windows and an unpretentious decor just a few metres from the former tobacco factory in the Los Remedios district of the city. Here, the focus is unashamedly on top-quality ingredients as chef Iván Valero is keen that the latter are showcased to the full without any unnecessary complication. On the menu, which harmoniously blends Andalucian and Basque influences, pride of place is given to select meats from across Spain, the best Galician seafood, and fish from the auction in Conil.
