The restaurant of the venerable Grandhotel Giessbach (dating back to 1875) stands right at the foot of the waterfalls of the same name and boasts a wonderful view of the nearby lake, Brienzersee. The tasty food is regional and seasonal, made primarily from produce grown in the hotel's own 2ha vegetable garden.
