Restaurant Brogsitter - Historisches Gasthaus Sanct Peter

Modern Cuisine, International · ★ Michelin

€€€€

The Historisches Gasthaus Sanct Peter was renowned for its wine back in the 13C, when it was the Hof- und Weingut des Kölner Domstifts (estate and vineyard of the Cologne Cathedral Chapter). In that regard, nothing has changed to this day, insofar as this characterful property is run by the Brogsitter family, who have a long tradition of winemaking. With numerous stints at top establishments to his name, chef Sebastian Baumann lives up to the standards of this traditional restaurant by demonstrating clear ambition. His distinctive style comes through in extremely flavourful dishes that are ful

Steinheuers Restaurant

Classic French, Classic Cuisine · ★★ Michelin

€€€€

For years the dedicated Steinheuer family has been serving excellent food in a welcoming atmosphere; it's no wonder diners keep coming back for more. The interior is upscale and elegant, and the two set menus by Christian Binder, son-in-law of owner Hans Stefan Steinheuer, are exceptional. His pleasingly pared-back classical cooking lets the outstanding principal ingredient take centre stage, enhanced by just a few supporting elements to create a precise and clearly defined result. A harmonious combination of wonderfully developed flavours and thoughtfully placed contrasts is exemplified by th

halbedel's Gasthaus

Modern French · ★ Michelin

€€€€

A well-to-do neighbourhood in Bad Godesberg, a Wilhelminian villa with a stylish yellow and white façade, an elegant interior with stucco, parquet flooring and modern touches – the perfect backdrop for Rainer-Maria Halbedel's cuisine. A legend of the German fine dining scene, he started cooking in 1966, received a Michelin star in 1984 at his former restaurant Korkeiche, and has held onto it ever since. He incorporates modern elements into his classic French cuisine and creates harmonious flavour combinations. Only the best produce is used, including eggs from his own hens and vegetables from

Yunico

Japanese, Modern Cuisine · ★ Michelin

€€€€

The name of this restaurant fuses the Japanese word "yu" and the Italian word "unico", hinting at the food served here. "Yunico" is also a reference to the uniquely high culinary standards they uphold. Situated on the top floor of the Kameha Grand lifestyle hotel, thanks to its floor-to-ceiling windows the restaurant affords a fantastic view of the Rhine – a view which is of course even better from the terrace. Then there is the smart, high-quality decor, all done out in red, black and white, as well as the experienced and well-coordinated front-of-house team. Head chef Christian Sturm-Willms

Kräutergarten

Classic Cuisine, Seasonal Cuisine

Since as far back as 1983, the friendly and dedicated owners have been running this restaurant with its pleasant and elegant interior. It is easy to see why they have so many loyal regulars. The cooking, rooted in the classical tradition and using excellent fresh ingredients, is shaped by the seasons and Mediterranean touches. Diners can order à la carte or compose their own three-course menu from the same selection. The service comes courtesy of an attentive team. You'll certainly want to come back again!

Redüttchen

Modern Cuisine, Farm to table

What was once the gardener's cottage at the 18C La Redoute ballroom and concert hall is a feel-good place that has won over more than its fair share of regulars. The restaurant's appeal lies not only in its extremely charming ambience, but also in Matthias Pietsch's innovative take on modern cuisine and the experienced, courteous and cordial service. The pleasant dining area is laid out over two levels, and the terrace to the rear of the building is also a lovely spot.

Historisches Gasthaus Sanct Peter Restaurant Weinkirche

International, Classic Cuisine

€€€

Having been renovated following the disastrous floods of 2021, this restaurant gives off an impression of classical elegance. A 13C church with a gallery forms the core of the establishment. There are also two other attractive dining spaces (called Alte Lay and Walporzheimer Himmelchen). The delightful terrace to the rear of the building offers a view of the greenery. The menu features dishes with regional, seasonal and international influences. Classics include braised ox cheeks in Ahr valley Burgundy sauce, and turbot in Ahr valley blanc de noir sauce. The selection of Broggsitter wines is i

Eiflers Zeiten

Farm to table, Seasonal Cuisine

The pleasant, rustic-style alternative to Bembergs Häuschen has a distinctly cosy feel. The menu features mouthwatering regional classics such as roast Eifel beef with roast potatoes, as well as internationally influenced dishes such as cod with a lemon crunch topping and Chinese cabbage. There are also daily changing specials. The two chandeliers fashioned from bottles are sure to draw the eye! The view through the windowed façade onto the pond is also lovely.
