Su Gologone
Sardinian, Traditional Cuisine · 必比登
€€
For many decades, the restaurant and hotel of the same name have represented one of the most beautiful photographs of the Sardinian hinterland. You can sit on the terrace with a breathtaking view of vineyards and olive groves or in one of the beautiful, rustic dining rooms decorated with Sardinian handicrafts, including one with a huge fireplace where you can watch the cooking of the famous porceddu. In fact, only traditional inland Sardinian cuisine is served, of which the suckling pig on the spit is certainly the most famous dish. Not to be outdone, however, are the dishes taken from the men

To the north of San Teodoro, within the exclusive Baglioni Resort, the restaurant offers a Mediterranean-inspired cuisine that strikes a balance between more classical references and contemporary accents. On one side, dishes such as lobster salad with sweet-and-sour vegetables and yellow cherry tomato gazpacho, or a richly composed sauté of shellfish; on the other, more modern creations such as a dessert of rosehip jelly with raspberry, rhubarb, basil gel, and fior di latte ice cream. The offering is further complemented by a vegetarian tasting menu, designed to celebrate the seasonality and f

Sa Corte
Country cooking, Traditional Cuisine

The gastronomic tradition of Nuoro and Barbagia comes to life in a restaurant with rustic charm. The recipes, enriched with personal touches, preserve the authentic flavor of their origins: pasta is strictly homemade and ingredients largely come from the local territory.

Il Fuoco Sacro
Italian, Mediterranean Cuisine · ★ Michelin
€€€€
Situated in the magical, rural and secluded setting of the Petra Segreta resort, surrounded by Mediterranean maquis scrubland, the gourmet Il Fuoco Sacro restaurant overlooks a delightful garden and boasts stunning views of the coast. The founder of this hidden paradise is chef-cum-entrepreneur Luigi Bergeretto, who serves modern, Mediterranean cuisine with a focus on locally sourced ingredients, including the excellent aromatic herbs grown on the hotel farm (which also provides the resort with its vegetables, cheeses and some meat). Last but not least, the menu is overseen by Enrico Bartolini

Il Pescatore
Seafood, Seasonal Cuisine
€€
This Mediterranean-style restaurant has the evocative feel of a seaside village with its beautiful photos of the coast on the walls. It’s best to book ahead if you want one of the tables on the small terrace overlooking the sea. To avoid confusion, note that the Il Pescatore that we recommend is situated at 7, via Acqua Dolce.

Su Murruai
Contemporary, Mediterranean Cuisine
€€€
In a small village overlooking the Sinis Peninsula, the restaurant has been established within an old mill and is dedicated to 'su murruai', Sardinian for the scent of aged Vernaccia. Contemporary Mediterranean cuisine is curated by young chef Ivan Matarese, who seeks quality regional ingredients—from both the mainland and the Gulf of Oristano—to reimagine modern recipes. Additionally, some Campania influences—being the chef's origin—are evident, especially in the desserts, half of which draw inspiration from renowned Campanian sweets (reimagined pastiera and babà).

Trattoria Margherita
Sardinian, Mediterranean Cuisine
€€
Don’t be fooled by the relatively simple ambience of this trattoria which is situated in the centre of a town with an interesting history linked to the reclamation of the marshes and the dairy industry. Dedicated to the owner’s two grandmothers, the restaurant serves some of Sardinia’s best-known meat and fish specialities.
