There are some people who think that grilling over a wood fire is something akin to cooking in prehistoric times! A classic address (the Arregi family opened the restaurant’s doors in 1962) that stands out for its superb views of the port of Getaria (hence its name – “Kaia” translates as “port” in Basque while “Kaipe” means “below the port”) and distinct maritime feel.
