Baud
This family-run hotel-restaurant is depicted by a contemporary interior with striped carpets and crimson walls and ceiling. The cuisine, meanwhile, delves into the local alpine larder to craft a modern repertory: poached and then chilled Savoie trout, tarragon pesto and a herb emulsion; Muscovy duckling, celeriac, Roscoff onions and red fruit. Enticing wine list, a riverside terrace shaded by a pergola and snug guestrooms for overnight stays.
