China → Norway
Ordinary China passport holders need a Schengen short-stay visa before short tourist/business travel to Norway.
China is not on UDI's visa-free list for Norway, and current EU Regulation 2018/1806 Annex I lists China among nationalities required to hold a visa when crossing Member State external borders. Admission also remains subject to Schengen border-entry conditions, including valid travel document, purpose/funds, and no refusal-of-entry alert.

A valid Schengen short-stay visa may be used to enter Norway according to the visa's validity, number of entries, permitted duration of stay, and territorial validity. If the visa has limited territorial validity that does not include Norway, it cannot be used for Norway. Entry remains subject to Schengen border conditions.

Common questions
No. An ordinary China passport requires a Schengen visa for Norway; UDI's listed visa-free or exempt documents include Schengen residence permits and Norwegian D visas, but not a U.S. visa. A U.S. visa does not substitute for a Norway/Schengen visa.
Not on the basis of a U.S. green card alone. UDI's relevant residence-document exemption is for residence permits in Schengen countries and similar listed documents, not U.S. permanent resident cards. An ordinary China passport still requires a Schengen visa unless another valid Schengen visa/residence basis applies.
No. UDI lists Hong Kong SAR passports as visa-free, and EU Annex II lists Hong Kong SAR passports under the visa-exempt territories, for short stays up to 90 days in any 180-day period.
Yes. UDI states that Taiwan passport visa-free travel applies to Taiwan passports containing an ID card number, and EU Annex II footnote likewise limits the exemption to Taiwan passports that include an identity card number.
