Description
For over 70 years, the elegant Il Bikini restaurant has been soaking up the sun in this superb location facing the spectacular Bay of Naples. Now home to a new and exuberant chef, the restaurant serves classic fish cuisine with a contemporary twist at lunchtime under the name Locanda di Mare, while in the evening the restaurant transforms into L’Atollo, a more elegant, fine-dining venue. Ever since the restaurant was opened in 1952, the panoramic terrace here has been one of the best places in the region in which to enjoy good food and spectacular sea views.

Review summary
Il Bikini in Vico Equense offers Mediterranean seafood with stunning bay views. Reviews highlight its romantic atmosphere, attentive service, and high-quality cuisine by Chef Pasquale Rinaldo. However, some guests criticized meal pacing, dish authenticity, and high prices relative to portion sizes. While many found the experience memorable and well-executed, others felt the cost did not always justify the value, particularly for simpler dishes. It remains a popular spot for scenic dining, though expectations regarding price and consistency vary.
Best for
Suitable for travelers seeking scenic ambiance and refined seafood, but budget-conscious diners should proceed with caution.
