Guests consistently praise the breathtaking ocean and rainforest views, abundant wildlife, and serene, private atmosphere. The restaurant is situated in a stunning seafront location along the elegant promenade of the modern Marina. A charming corner, enhanced by a spacious terrace – where dinner begins with refined finger food – and breathtaking views of the blue sea dotted with lush green islets. As evening falls, the illuminated silhouette of the Church of St. Euphemia adds a touch of magic to the atmosphere. The kitchen is helmed by Simone De Lucca, under the supervision of Emanuele Scarello, chef of the renowned two-Michelin-starred Agli Amici in Udine. The menu offers two tasting journeys: Rovinj and Istria,

The menu, which the chef describes as a true journey, guides guests through seasonal delicacies with tasting courses of different lengths, offering the freedom to customize a bespoke gastronomic experience. Standout dishes include Adriatic lobster with charcoal-roasted cabbage and an intense, nuanced m

Whether you take a seat in its delightful summer garden or beautiful minimalist-style dining room, the Japanese restaurant at the extremely modern Lone hotel provides an interesting blend of Istrian and Japanese cuisine. The techniques and recipes are Japanese, while the ingredients and personalised reinterpretations are from the region. We particularly enjoyed the duck breast with chicory, which was cooked to perfection with crispy skin and accompanied by a creamy umeboshi plum and pomegranate sauce – the perfect balance of sweet and savoury flavours.
