Bonvivant
Vegan · ★ Michelin
€€€€
The successful concept that awaits you here comprises a six- or seven-course vegan set menu, which can be extended to include a signature dish. The absence of meat and fish in no way detracts from the experience. When it comes to selecting ingredients, many are sourced from local producers, with a focus on the region and the seasons. Interesting accompaniments for the delicious mains are also given their due, plus there are original and sophisticated drinks and cocktails. In a relaxed and down-to-earth atmosphere, the dedicated young service team will elaborate on the individual courses of the

Irma la Douce
french · ★ Michelin

This restaurant's name was not simply plucked out of thin air; it refers to the US film Irma la Douce, which is based on the musical of the same name. A classically elegant decor bathed in a warm golden light creates a truly enchanting atmosphere that evokes the spirit of a bygone era. The atmosphere is pleasingly laid back, and top-notch service comes courtesy of friendly waitstaff. The cuisine draws on classic French influences, incorporating creative modern ideas. Flavourful dishes such as the melt-in-the-mouth bœuf bourguignon are prepared using the finest ingredients. The popular ‘Carbona

GOLVET

On the eighth floor of the Loeser & Wolff building, the sensational view over Potsdamer Platz and the city are quite something! But the modern cuisine served here is not to be outdone. Chef Nicholas Hahn (who made a name for himself at Cookies Cream) and his dedicated team put select ingredients centre stage, giving them a creative twist. Vegetables play a key role, but fish and meat are also embraced in dishes such as "pointed cabbage, Koshihikari, green pepper, smoked eel" and "John Dory, horseradish, kohlrabi" or "aubergine, courgette, Café de Paris". Service is attentive and professional,

FACIL
Creative, Contemporary · ★★ Michelin
€€€€
A real oasis of calm in the middle of Berlin, right on busy Potsdamer Platz! Up here on the fifth floor of The Mandala Hotel, diners can sit on the pleasant little terrace amid the chestnut trees and fountain – a place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city! And if you eat inside the chic, light and airy rooftop garden restaurant, you almost feel as if you are outdoors thanks to the wraparound glass windows. Beautiful bamboo plants are a nod to Asia. In addition to the location, Facil boasts top-notch cuisine by Michael Kempf (culinary director) and Joachim Gerner (head chef). For instanc

Hugos
international · ★ Michelin

The magnificent view and the chic interior make Hugos, laid out on the 14th floor of the InterContinental hotel, a highly appealing location in the capital. Soft lighting and elegant furnishings make for a relaxed and romantic atmosphere. Johannes Gehrich runs the kitchen, serving up modern international cuisine as a six- or eight-course tasting menu. A fine example is "snow crab & imperial caviar", which impresses with its delicacy, clarity of flavour and overall balance. The combination of meltingly tender Dover sole, lightly tangy morels, foamy vin jaune and golden-brown cauliflower mushroo

Tim Raue
German, Asian Influences · ★★ Michelin
€€€€
European cuisine that draws on Asia for inspiration – Tim Raue pulls off this modern and refreshing feat in truly original fashion. This Berlin-born chef has a style that is all his own and certainly unique in Germany. He works with a highly skilled team to turn out his flavourful creations. Diners have a choice of set menus dubbed "Kolibri x Berlin" (a tribute to Berlin) and "Koi", with his signature dishes of "Wasabi Langoustine" and "Duck 'Marie-Anne'" or "Königsberger Klops Grandma Gerda" available in each. There is also a vegan set menu. On Fridays and Saturdays, the restaurant opens earl

Nobelhart & Schmutzig
regional · ★ Michelin

This restaurant on Friedrichstraße may look unassuming but it pursues a philosophy all of its own. Proprietor Billy Wagner and chef Micha Schäfer prize their ingredients and the way they are sourced above all else. They use only the finest seasonal produce – from the region, of course. They even make their own butter. A single set menu with the option of six or eight courses is served. The chefs are happy to talk you through their carefully conceived dishes, whether you are seated at a table or the counter facing the open kitchen – the latter are especially coveted. To go with the menu, there

Lorenz Adlon Esszimmer
Creative · ★ Michelin
€€€€
As you enter the exclusive Hotel Adlon Kempinski, the lobby sets the tone for the refined feel of the restaurant on the first floor. With a bit of luck, you will get a table with a view of the Brandenburg Gate. The sophisticated, classically opulent interior meets its match in the sophisticated cuisine of Jonas Zörner, who clinched his first MICHELIN star at GOLVET. His modern, creative style of cooking is perfectly in contrast with the Adlon's classic heritage, yet still preserves a classic French foundation. Prime examples of his dishes include "black hake, bouillabaisse, North Sea brown shr
