Dedicated, cordial and consistent service is the name of the game in the Ottenbacher family establishment, a fact which can be put down to their long tradition of hospitality, which spans four generations! Here, they cultivate tradition and yet continue to evolve – as you can see in the spruce half-timbered house with its green shutters, where historical charm meets more modern and elegant design features. Moritz Feichtinger's classic cuisine also draws on the region for inspiration. There is a choice of three menus - including a vegan and a regional menu - and à la carte dishes. Diners can al

The elegant restaurant within the Linden Museum, Baden-Württemberg's state museum of ethnology, is serving Mediterranean-inspired seafood dishes such as "bouillabaisse, sauce rouille, focaccia crisp" or "octopus, beans, chorizo". A five-course set menu is available, with an additional three-course option on Tue-Thu. The vegetarian version needs to be pre-ordered.

Even after all these years, 5 is still bang on trend. This is primarily down to Alexander Dinter's modern cuisine. Since 2018, he has been the creative force at the helm, successfully incorporating his own original ideas into his seasonally inspired set menu. The location near the Schlossgarten, in what was Stuttgart's first ever railway station, is also unique. A laid-back urban vibe combined with an elegant lounge decor makes for a special atmosphere, which persists as you move from the stylish bar on the ground floor to the "casual fine dining" restaurant on the first floor. Here, guests si

Wine lovers will be delighted to see the walk-in glass wine cabinet upon entering the restaurant – it gives a first impression of the 300 or so labels on offer here. The chic interior with its stylish, minimalist design and distinctive details is also sure to draw the eye. This makes for a pleasant atmosphere, as does the charming and accomplished service. A sophisticated setting such as this serves as a perfect backdrop for head chef Fabian Heldmann's contemporary cuisine which is rich in contrasts, offered as a set menu with up to seven courses. For car enthusiasts who are fans of quality cuisine: here you can take in views of the Porsche Museum or Porscheplatz as you tuck into Mediterranean and international fare such as pluma bellota Ibérico taco with pineapple and pink peppercorn chutney, or barbecued US prime beef. You can also opt for a six- or nine-course tasting menu. The open kitchen offers some fascinating insights. Impressive wine list comprising over 500 items. A lift takes you straight from the car park to the restaurant on the third floor.

It's a real pleasure to eat here, and there's a good reason for that: chef-patron Daniel Stübler clearly puts his heart and soul into running his cosy little restaurant. He cooks up excellent regional and international dishes, and also does the serving himself – not only is he highly accomplished at what he does, he is also an extremely cordial host and single-handedly creates a fantastic atmosphere! The carefully curated wine list is also remarkable, featuring wines from Baden-Württemberg, Baden and the Palatinate only.

Don't be fooled by the rather unspectacular exterior of this corner-plot building! Once inside, you will be immersed in a Far Eastern-style minimalist setting and have the chance to savour Nakagawa's Japanese creative cuisine, which draws on contemporary and French influences. Choose from set menus and à la carte options – sushi and vegetarian dishes are also present and correct. Only fish of the finest quality makes the cut. Professional service comes courtesy of polite, friendly waitstaff, who will gladly provide sake recommendations.

On the first floor of the culture and congress centre, Forum am Schlosspark, an interesting restaurant and wine bar concept awaits you. The cuisine is modern, seasonal and international, but also has classical influences; dishes can be ordered as a set menu or à la carte. Good wines, friendly, attentive service and a chic, light and airy space. The terrace with a view over Kastanienallee is delightful. If you are coming by car, you can park on the Bärenwiese opposite.
