This gastronomic venture comes from acclaimed British chef, Jason Atherton. Its name combines the acronym for its “refinement of work” and its location on the 45th floor of The Grosvenor House. A penthouse-like setting with an open kitchen, this intimate culinary experience seats 22 guests and offers a 17-course tasting menu divided into three acts. The dishes feature fine Japanese ingredients prepared with French techniques, such as amebi and bafun uni. The full menu is sophisticated, refined and immaculately presented, delivering well-judged and complex flavours. If you’re going to opt for t

Vibrant, modern Indian cooking is on offer at this fun and funky poolside restaurant, where the charming team provide helpful service with a smile. Street food meets sharing plates on the appealingly eclectic menu, with choices from the earth (vegetarian), land (meat) and sea. Colourful dishes, like the tandoori cauliflower roast, and lamb biriyani kofta, come in generous portions.

What started as a secret supper club, gathering all the key elements of famous hawker markets, is now a relaxed restaurant in the JLT neighbourhood. A friendly and caring team guide you through the subtleties of the street foods of Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Myanmar. Generously sized dishes are made with fresh produce, seasoned with aromatic condiments, spices and a large variety of herbs resulting in a flavour-packed experience. Don’t miss the fish curry – a tribute to the chef’s mother's recipe – and the caramelised pineapple pie with yoghurt ice cream made to share.

This elegant, high-ceilinged restaurant is exclusively set at the end of the Palm in a colonial-style property, which is breathtakingly opulent in design, with magical tropical gardens and a private dock. Inside, it’s luxurious without being stuffy, and service follows suit, with a team that are attentive and professional yet relaxed and personable. The cuisine is innovative, creative and intriguing, combining French tradition with modern culinary advances to create à la carte dishes and exclusive menus. The combination of flavours is harmonious, and dishes are cohesive, creating an unforgetta

Named after the owner’s mother, this passionately run ‘home’ offers a warm welcome and delicious, home-style Levantine dishes cooked with love. The extensive selection of dishes blends old with new; some are crafted with generational recipes, while others are modern homages to classic Levantine flavours, such as Maryam fukhara, kibbe meatball cooked with pomegranate molasses in a claypot. Sit in the cool, tranquil dining room or out on the glass-enclosed lakeside terrace. The lunch ‘dish of the day & soup’ is a steal – and dessert, the kunafa kheshne in particular, is a must.

The surprise multi-course tasting menu is a masterpiece of originality, intrigue and precision, featuring flavours and tastes from all four compass points of India. While the chefs work away with quiet diligence and focus in the open kitchen, the service team provide detailed explanations of each elegant creation. A little theatre here and there with certain courses adds to an unforgettable experience. There’s something magical happening here – and with just 15 seats and a rooftop location – you’ll feel you’re in on the secret. Pro tip: arrive to dinner a little earlier to enjoy signature cock

2024 saw Chef Dani García bring his popular Madrid restaurant to the St. Regis Gardens on the Palm Jumeirah. Located at the back of Leña, this intimate and dark room with a large semi-circular table seats 14 guests and overlooks a kitchen with an open fire and grills, a style Chef Dani dubs “Fire Omakase”. The experience is immersive and engaging, with chefs guiding diners through the 11-course menu and explaining in detail the creative and technically skilled dishes, such as sea cucumber carbonara. Desserts are a particular highlight, especially the confidently and skilfully executed burnt pu

The most recent redecoration resulted in a brighter, airier look for this restaurant in the Grosvenor House hotel. The culinary legacy of the late, great Gary Rhodes is reflected in the appealing menu of European and British dishes. The kitchen handles classics like smoked haddock with Welsh rarebit, salmon fishcake, and bread and butter pudding so well they’re sure to hit the spot. Be sure to also try the chocolate Jaffa fondant with orange jelly.
