Porcino
Creative, Mediterranean Cuisine · ★ Michelin
€€€€
Inside the modern Badia Hill hotel, patron Marco Verginer offers two tasting menus: one focused on seasonality, the other inspired by his creativity, featuring ingredients such as Wagyu beef produced in Alto Adige. The pairings are flavorful and lively, with extensive use of vegetables, often from the home garden. The result is an excellent dining experience served in a contemporary setting surrounded by glass walls that offer splendid views of the surrounding landscape. The menu presents a succession of mountain territory references combined with Mediterranean and international touches in hig

La Stüa de Michil - Simone Cantafio
Creative, International · ★ Michelin
€€€€
To get to this restaurant you head up towards the church in the prettiest part of Corvara, where you’ll find the La Perla hotel, one of the best in the valley, on your left. Once inside the hotel, you’ll be accompanied to La Stüa (stube in Ladin), where the profusion of wood lends an intimate and romantic feel to the decor. Although the setting is typical of the region, Simone Cantafio’s cuisine will take you on an extraordinary culinary journey. Originally from Calabria, this chef worked for many years in Japan, just one of his many formative experiences. As a result, his dishes feature diffe

Maso Runch-Hof
Regional Cuisine, South Tyrolean
€€
Surrounded by woods, a trip to this restaurant housed in an 18C farmhouse is like taking a journey back in time. Take a seat in one of the wood-adorned Stube-style rooms and enjoy generous portions of delicious home-cooked Ladin specialities featured on a single tasting menu, including cajinci t’ega (spinach-filled ravioli), excellent pork ribs with polenta, and apple strudel. The small wine list has the same local focus, featuring labels from the Alto Adige region. A recent addition, the restaurant also now has a few spacious, welcoming chalets available for guests.

Rifugio Col Alt
italian, regional, alpine
€€
During the day this restaurant can be reached in just a few minutes by cable car, providing you with breathtaking views of the Dolomites, while in the evening (when the service is more attentive – things are faster paced at lunchtime) you have to arrange transport via snowcat. The name “refuge” refers only to the location as the cuisine is definitely that of a restaurant: although the menu features hearty mountain fare, it also includes modern options and a few fish-based recipes, including oysters. Last but not least, there’s a good selection of wines.

In the cellars of the Ciasa Salares hotel, you dine surrounded by bottles – after all, cocun in Ladin means cork, and not by chance the wine selection is vast. The chef creates dishes with ingredients and influences from every corner of the world and makes frequent use of the grill.

Ladinia
Regional Cuisine, Italian Contemporary
€€€
Both the Berghotel Ladinia and its restaurant of the same name boast a warm, vintage Alpine-style ambience, with wood decor that tells the story of this business which opened as a simple inn back in 1930. Little has changed since then and guests return here time after time thanks to the warm welcome and attention to detail offered by the Costa family. The traditional cuisine has the occasional modern twist, while the few Ladin-style guestrooms are decorated with a profusion of wood.
