The jewel in the crown of Andreas Caminada's suite of restaurants delivers an exceptional experience across the board. From the wonderfully stylish interior of this historical castle nestled at the foot of Piz Beverin, to the impeccably professional service, to the sophisticated, beautifully balanced cuisine abounding with interestingly contrasting flavours. Instead of relying on conventional premium ingredients, the dishes draw almost exclusively on the very finest of what the Graubünden region has to offer! Some of the produce is sourced from their own fantastic vegetable garden. The meal ki

This elegant place dedicated to modern cuisine is part of the impressive Tschuggen Grand Hotel, which is perched 1 800m above sea level. Young chef Marco Campanella and his team astound diners with aromatic dishes that frequently present as elaborate and playful, yet maintain depth of flavour and technical precision, striking a perfect balance between robustness and sophistication. The exquisite sauces demonstrate true artistry – take, for example, the wonderfully full-bodied and velvety bisque with delightful roasted notes, which elevates beautifully firm langoustine tail. The beautiful grounds of Schloss Schauenstein are home to OZ, another of Andreas Caminada's restaurants. The name is derived from the Romansh word for "today", a nod to the contemporary cuisine served here, which is exclusively vegetarian. Seasonal produce arrives fresh from the estate's own permaculture garden or from long-standing partners, and preserves ensure variety on the plate during the winter months. You certainly won’t miss meat, given the diverse and harmoniously composed flavours showcased by chef Simeon Nikolov in his creative nine-course menu. The Chawanmushi variation is a highl

In a shopping street in Chur's old town, this friendly restaurant on the first floor is expertly run by the enthusiastic Phommarath family. They serve authentic dishes from Southeast Asia, such as house-made wonton and spring rolls, as well as various curry and wok dishes. At lunchtime, there is a shorter set menu, as well as daily specials, which are also ideal for a quick lunch break. Thanks to their grocery shop, Vannavong Asia Market (on Ringstrasse), they also have a good source of fresh ingredients at their fingertips.

Sven Wassmer Memories

Creative, Farm to table · ★★★ Michelin

Sven Wassmer's cooking is really quite something. He has no need for showmanship or technical gimmicks; instead he captivates diners with a uniqueness that is difficult to put into words. What arrives on your plate appears pleasingly pared down and elegantly simple, yet at the same time, it is replete with elaborate details that create balance and depth of flavour. The finest ingredients underscore his deep connection to Switzerland. Bold and rich in contrast, honest and accessible – this is the kind of cuisine that keeps you coming back for more! The set menu comes in 10, eight or six courses

This restaurant enjoys a lovely, quiet location in the castle grounds. Inside the bright, high-ceilinged space, modern design meets warm wood; outside, there is a gorgeous terrace. Service is adept and delivered by a thoroughly charming team. They serve regional cuisine, in which seasonal ingredients sourced from select local producers go into extremely flavoursome dishes – the produce steals the show. Andreas Caminada's take on Graubünden classics also features on the menu, such as Maluns (fried potato crumbles) with apple compote and cheese, or Capuns Tatta (dough-filled chard leaf wraps). T

Temporarily closed due to renovation work in the hotel. Expected reopening in December 2026.This stylish restaurant in a historical vaulted room inside the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz showcases a concept that was devised by none other than celebrated chef Andreas Caminada: an elaborate, creative "fine dining sharing experience". In keeping with the name (igniv is a Romansh word meaning "nest"), the focus is on the well-being of guests and the pleasure of communal dining. First-rate ingredients are used to create a very special set menu, each course of which is made up of several small dishes – all

This restaurant subscribes to the interesting concept of "health-and-lifestyle cuisine", which places the emphasis on sustainability and fair trade. Here, they make a point of using seasonal produce sourced from the local region and are keen to exchange ideas with local growers and producers. Their international produce is also sustainably farmed. The dishes, which are inspired by nature, can be ordered à la carte or as a set menu – for example, "sautéed pike-perch, sauerkraut, bacon, beurre blanc, mountain potatoes" or the equally flavoursome "cheesecake mousse, cinnamon blossom foam, pear".
