This renowned osteria situated in a district off the tourist trail is run by attentive and friendly female staff. Its dishes have a regional focus – vitello tonnato, agnolotti and tajarin pasta, caponèt (stuffed cabbage rolls), bonet dessert etc – and are served in three small, simple and traditional dining rooms, one of which shares space with the bar. There’s also pleasant outdoor dining in the garden to the rear in summer. Due to its popularity, booking ahead is highly recommended!

On the ground floor of what has become one of the icons of Turin's urban landscape - the Intesa San Paolo skyscraper designed by Renzo Piano - you will find the dedicated entrance to the restaurant. Here you will be accompanied to the lift with which, at great speed, you will ascend to a height of 150 metres: before sitting down in the restaurant proper, do not miss a “diversion” to the panoramic terrace from which you will enjoy a splendid view of the city centre. Then, in the large and bright dining room surrounded by the greenhouse, the gastronomic choice will be presented to you in the for

Away from the centre, nestled within a residential neighbourhood of quiet apartment buildings, this address surprises from the very first glance: the interior calls to mind a large veranda, furnished with an original and harmonious mix of objects and decorative pieces chosen with great taste – among them a piano that catches the eye – and looking out onto an intimate yet splendid terrace where, in the warmer months, dinner is taken in the shade of lemon trees. The cooking favours fire and the grill, from which generous, personal and intriguing dishes emerge, not always bound to tradition, but

Mammà Isola di Capri
Mediterranean Cuisine, Campanian
€€€
Situated within the multi-functional Sondo building (also home to a museum, offices and exhibition spaces), this large restaurant decorated in contemporary, post-industrial style provides the backdrop for chef Raffaele Amitrano’s Mediterranean cuisine which is strongly influenced by the flavours of Campania. His plin pasta dish pays tribute to the region and is particularly interesting thanks to ingredients such as cacio cheese, pepper and raw prawns. Make sure you arrive early if you want to visit the building and maybe even take advantage of the large sharing table.

Situated on a redeveloped industrial site and part of a training school, this restaurant offers a more concise menu at lunchtime with lower prices than the evening, but with the same high-quality cuisine. Our inspector recommends the spaghetti with spring onion and bottarga, accompanied by one of the craft beers produced on site. There’s also an attractive terrace for alfresco dining in fine weather.

The former nineteenth century refectory of the nearby church has become the laboratory of a chef who is as skillful as he is creative: wrapped in the warm atmosphere of the brickwork of the evocative dining room, all the dishes have fruit as a recurring ingredient, which adds a touch of acidity and flavor to dishes of creative cuisine, whether of meat or fish, further enhanced by the work of an excellent sommelier.
