Maison Caillet
Creative · ★ Michelin
€€€€
Pierre Caillet, "Meilleur Ouvrier de France" in 2011, not only boasts flawless culinary technique, but also reveals a sensitive grasp of the ingredient and infectious enthusiasm. Unusual recipes (like skate wing rolled in a watercress mousse, dotted with kalamansi and coated with a velvety sea urchin sauce), interwoven textures and flavours, premium Normandy produce… and let's not forget the savvy use of herbs and veg from the extensive kitchen garden: it ticks all the boxes. Last but not least, this 19C hostelry also boasts snug, inviting guestrooms with private terraces overlooking the pond.

La Table de Gabin - Maison de la Source
Modern Cuisine

A small country inn hidden away in a remote location is sometimes all it takes to pique our interest. Our curiosity was quickly rewarded in the form of the delicious food served by chef Gabin Bouguet (formerly of Le Donjon in Étretat), who is on a mission to keep things simple without compromising on indulgence. Hailing from the region himself, he is committed to showcasing its produce with skill in dishes that are full of character – expect a culinary treat from start to finish! After your meal, take a stroll to the cliffs a few hundred metres away – there you'll enjoy a beautiful view of Féc

The culinary score has embraced a two-fold seaside/plant theme with just the right blend of balance and harmony as sauces and jus add a welcome gutsy kick greatly appreciated by discerning foodies. Pleasant guestrooms to stay longer.

Le Bel Ami

A few hundred metres from the seafront, amid crêperies and other taverns, don't hesitate to bag a table at this inviting, colourful eatery run by the proprietor of Le Donjon – Domaine Saint-Clair, a Michelin-starred restaurant in the upper town. Le Bel Ami is just the ticket for Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, starting with mezze (fatteh of beef tataki; carpaccio of grilled watermelon and camembert espuma or cappuccino-style ceviche), before tucking into a superb piece of croaker cooked in a vine leaf, spinach gnudi and arak-flavoured bisque. Wine tasting and sales take place in a small wine c
