From 102 guest reviews · multi-source · as of 2026-07-19

Guests consistently praise the tranquil natural setting, freshly renovated wooden rooms with meticulous details, warm hospitality from owners and staff, and an excellent homemade breakfast. The spa and pool are well-regarded. Minor drawbacks include occasional road noise in some rooms, compact bathrooms, firmer mattresses, and limited summer cooling, though these rarely impact the highly positive overall experience.

His cuisine has solid classic foundations with a contemporary and personalised touch, and a good choice of dishes on the à la carte, plus a tasting menu (“Settepiatti”) which changes every year (as does the ceramic tableware

Breathtaking 180° views of the Val Venosta provide the theatrical setting for Gerhard Wieser’s culinary talents at this restaurant. The chef’s cuisine is as precise as a Swiss clock yet full of international influences, with ingredients transformed into small masterpieces thanks to impeccable techniques and an elegant flair. His most memorable creations include red prawn tail cooked over a wood fire and served glazed, on top of a pea mixture (served plain, with cream or with olive oil) flavoured with chorizo sauce.
