A fun place to eat! This handsome historical half-timbered house has been in the same family since 1750. Sit back in the delightful wood-panelled interior as the cordial front-of-house team brings out really good Baden cuisine, which can also be enjoyed on the terrace in summer. The menu includes dishes such as pikeperch-salmon dumplings, and stuffed guinea fowl breast with a chive cream sauce to whet your appetite. Tip: Sample the tempting little starters and desserts (look for the "Versucherle" sections on the menu)! With some 500 labels, the wine list is excellent. To take home: house-made

The diversity of the Bareiss culinary empire knows no bounds! The historic and idyllically located Forellenhof has been transformed into a charming restaurant open to all-comers from 11:30 am to 5: 30 pm, Fridays from 11:30 am. to 10 pm. The emphasis here is on freshwater fish – from their own fish farm – but they also serve snacks. Tip: you can buy fresh fish in the Forellenlädle (9am-noon).

This lovely restaurant with its delightful terrace overlooking the garden serves regional and seasonal cuisine with the odd nod to international culinary traditions. A friendly and well-drilled front-of-house team help to create an inviting atmosphere. Tip: If you want to be close to the action, book the Chef's Table in the kitchen ( minimum 6 people). And if you wish to spend a little longer here, Hotel Engel Obertal offers comfortable, stylish guestrooms and fantastic facilities to help make your stay a relaxing one.
