At the start of the refined Corso Roma, the city’s elegant promenade dotted with gourmet shops, this restaurant welcomes guests on the first floor of a thirteenth-century palazzo, which also houses the Cantina Regionale del Roero. Here, chef Davide Palluda continues, year after year, to impress with a cuisine that speaks for itself: dishes of exceptional caliber, at times truly memorable, revealing a confident hand and rare sensitivity. The menu looks to Piedmontese roots while embracing modern, personal interpretations. Among these, one dish stands out for its unexpected delicacy, despite fea

A breath of immortality hovers over this restaurant, where great Piedmontese cuisine finds one of its finest expressions thanks to the Cordero family. Elide at the stoves, her husband Enrico and son Giampiero in the dining room – the latter a profound wine connoisseur and guardian of an extraordinary, ever-growing cellar – carry forward with passion a venue taken over by Giampiero’s grandparents in 1956. Here, tradition takes center stage with hearty, flavor-rich dishes that never tire: from bread agnolotti filled with anchovy and a hint of thyme to the classic braised cheek with caramelized f

In the heart of a postcard-perfect village, the Musso family has welcomed guests for generations with the characteristic seriousness and professionalism of the Savoy tradition. Most importantly, they offer truly interesting cuisine. While grandmother Gemma and mother Sandra kept regional tradition at the heart of their dishes, today Massimiliano channels his passion for the Orient – where he has worked and loves to travel – into a modern, almost fusion approach. Expect amberjack, cleaned in Japanese style and grilled on a yakitori, served alongside a creative take on the family‑garden zucchini

Named after the birthday of chef Flavio Costa’s twin daughters, 21.9 reflects both his Ligurian origins and his deep ties to Piedmont. Set within a wine estate whose cellar dates back to the 15th century, with sweeping views over vineyards and rolling hills, the restaurant offers a creative cuisine at the crossroads of land and sea, marrying Piedmontese recipes and ingredients with those of Liguria, while also embracing more contemporary influences. In season, a menu dedicated to game is also available.

The now famous red door ushers you into this temple of Italian cuisine. Once you cross the threshold, stairs lead up to the first floor, where pink walls and a fresco by Francesco Clemente welcome you, as do the friendly front-of-house staff. From here on, the focus is on chef Enrico Crippa's very personal cuisine, presented in three tasting menus (a fourth, shorter menu is available at lunchtime only): one linked closely to the vegetable gardens and the seasons, another intimately connected to the local area, and the last taking you on a journey through Italy and beyond. Situated in the hills outside Asti, this modern inn with guestrooms is nestled in around 18 hectares of woodland and meadows. The interior decor here is contemporary and minimalist, while the cuisine is overseen by the famous three-Michelin-star chef Antonino Cannavacciuolo, with resident chef Gianluca Renzi, who has already earned his spurs at other top-quality restaurants, at the helm in the kitchen. Originally from Rome (his focaccia is excellent!) and having trained professionally in various locations, Renzi creates cuisine that combines personal imaginative touches with regional influence

The original painted sign on the façade recalls with quiet pride the century-long history of the establishment. Born from the restoration of an old trattoria set apart from the village centre, immersed among chestnut trees and outcroppings of tufa, the restaurant remains faithful to the Piedmontese tradition, presenting a cuisine that is forthright and firmly rooted in the territory. The menu focuses on simple yet carefully considered dishes, among them the old-fashioned Russian salad, prepared according to the custom that calls for the use of giardiniera, responsible for its pleasingly charac

In the Barbaresco hills, in a characteristic building dating back to 1931 that used to be a nursery school, the large dining room is the stage for a magnificent performance that unfolds over the hills through the glass walls. You can enjoy it even more if you take a few minutes between courses to step out onto the terrace and admire the view which, on clear days, stretches all the way to the Alps. The culinary creations of Maurilio Garola and Marco Lombardo take you on a journey of flavours with refined tasting menus and a rich à la carte menu featuring succulent meat dishes and fresh fish. Th
