Hotel Seepark, which enjoys an enchanting location on Lake Thun, boasts not only stylish accommodation but also impressive dining options. In the evening, this small, tastefully designed restaurant serves a modern, seasonal tasting menu comprising five or seven courses. There is a theme or short story behind each dish, such as "Scandinavian Flavours", "Root of Life", "The Call of Lake Thun" or "Dry-Aged Pork at its Finest". At the restaurant of the Hotel Eden Spiez, diners can savour classic cuisine that showcases regional and seasonal produce including homegrown fruit and berries. The hotel also has its own herb garden. Take in stunning views of Spiez Castle, Spiez Bay and the imposing mountains from the stylishly elegant interior or the covered terrace – both spaces are equally delightful. A shorter menu is available at lunchtime.

The name says it all! The location at an altitude of over 1 000m makes for a fantastic panoramic view of the surrounding mountains – it would be a crime not to enjoy it from the terrace in summer. The Rindisbachers have been running their establishment since 1985 already, serving food influenced by tradition, made with quality ingredients and paired with good wines. The pasta is manufactured in their own workshop. Panoteca sells delicatessen wares.

Gasthaus Bären
Traditional Cuisine, Swiss
€€
This restaurant serves flavoursome traditional cuisine made from local produce à la carte or in the form of an ambitious set menu comprising three, four or five courses. There are also appetising options for two, such as Chateaubriand. Berner Haus, which first appears in records as a tavern in 1542, makes for an enchanting setting with its charming wood-panelled interior. The lovely old turquoise tiled stove, adorned with Langenthal porcelain, provides comforting warmth in the winter months.
