A terrific modern concept that would also be right at home in Vienna or Munich! This restaurant is to be found in the exclusive Schlosshotel at an altitude of 1 436m. The sophisticated and upscale decor is done out in a palette of elegant dark tones and the atmosphere is lively. Executive Chef Klaus Kneringer and Josef Schöndorfer are in charge of the kitchen. Highlights include the "Big Cuts", meat beautifully grilled in the Big Green Egg – the Porterhouse from Austria or the Tomahawk from the US are tempting options. Crafted with meticulous care and high-quality ingredients, the dishes of chef Christian Marent showcase a creative fusion of regional and international flavours. The Tyrolean salmon trout with radish and saffron vinegar, and the rack of lamb with chorizo, black-eyed beans, sweetcorn and jalapeño are fine examples of this successful blend

Her husband Rudolf cooks Austrian classics such as Kauner Graukassuppe (a traditional Tyrolean "grey cheese" soup) or Zwiebelrostbraten (Alpine beef with onions) roast potatoes and vegetables. Popular desserts include Kaiserschmarrn (shredded pancake) and crêpes. Game hunted in the environs and lamb from the region are among the local ingredients that go into the carefully prepared dishes.
