With a name like 360°, who isn't expecting a great view? The highlight of this sleek, modern restaurant on the third floor has got to be the roof terrace! But you can also enjoy the views over the city from the inside thanks to the large windows. Alternatively, you can watch Alexander Hohlwein and his team at work in the open kitchen as they prepare their creative set menu in the evening ("Weltreise"). Over four to eight courses, harmoniously balanced flavours are presented – such as exquisite Helgoland lobster with tomato, passion fruit and ponzu, or perfectly roasted Challans duck with coffe

Creative, Seasonal Cuisine · ★ Michelin

This restaurant steeped in tradition moved in March 2026 from the Nassauer Hof in Wiesbaden to Eberbach Monastery. It is in the historic gatehouse (Pfortenhaus) that Michael Kammermeier now serves up his modern-inspired cuisine in the form of considered, meticulously crafted and flavoursome dishes made with excellent-quality produce. Of the two set menus, "Küchenrunde" and "Querbeet", the latter is the vegetarian version. Both are available in a five- to eight-course format and include dishes such as "salmon trout from the Wispertal Forellenhof Seitz, horseradish, radishes, grapes, verjus, lov

Classic French, Mediterranean Cuisine · ★ Michelin

In addition to its hotel and café, the Frankenbach family also runs Jean in this former wine bar. After working in renowned establishments such as Ikarus in Salzburg, Johannes Frankenbach (the third generation of the family) has been at the helm here since 2012. Even the name "Jean" (a French equivalent of Johannes) is a nod to his love of France, which is as much a part of his ingredient-led, Mediterranean-influenced cuisine as is his knack for creating fine aromas and flavour contrasts. This is accompanied by judicious and fairly priced wine pairings. The setting is also charming: half-heigh

Modern Cuisine, Creative · ★★ Michelin

Exclusivity is a word that comes to mind when thinking about this small restaurant in the Fährhaus hotel: a prime location on the Moselle riverfront, an elegant, upscale interior accommodating only 20 diners. Four of these are at the Chef's Table in the open kitchen, which is visible from every corner. Right at the pass, the chefs welcome you with a first pre-dinner drink. The culinary reins are held by Yannick Noack, previously acclaimed for his work at PURS in Andernach. He serves up a modern and creative take on classic cuisine. Dishes such as Breton sole with Savoy cabbage, red pepper and

Farm to table, Classic Cuisine · ★ Michelin

Thanks to the commitment of the Stein family, what began in the early 20C as a village tavern has evolved over the decades into a modern restaurant serving sophisticated cuisine. Owner and head chef Philipp Stein represents the sixth generation at the helm. There is no doubt about his outstanding culinary talent. What may, at first glance, seem simple is actually exceedingly complex in terms of flavour and harmony, yet accessible for all that. His dishes demonstrate a restrained elegance, but he is also able to draw on a bolder sense of innovation when he deems it necessary. An excellent wine

Modern Cuisine, Farm to table · ★ Michelin

This delightful little restaurant is nestled in the heart of the old town. Patrons appreciate the inviting interior and the extremely friendly service, not to mention the modern seasonal cuisine. The ingredients are sourced as locally as possible – the restaurant even has its dedicated producers: For example, they have a farmer grow vegetables specifically for them. One of the two set menus comprising four to eight courses is vegetarian. The combination of yoghurt, zucchini, black garlic and lemon oil is a particularly original and well-balanced dish. The charming Brunnenhof is a lovely seclud

Located in Stadtpark Mainz and run by the dedicated Barth family, FAVORITE parkhotel is not only a sophisticated place to stay but also has a restaurant that is well worth seeking out. There has been a change in the management of the fine dining restaurant's kitchen. Aniello Casalino showcases his refined Mediterranean touch here, working with fresh, carefully chosen ingredients. Dishes such as open carbonara raviolo with veal sweetbreads, egg yolk cream, Parmesan foam and orange crumble, or cod with baby artichoke, pecorino, fregola and dashi beurre blanc beautifully reflect his style. Culinary excellence is guaranteed at Hotel Stein, thanks to chef-patron Mike Schiller and his dishes based on high-quality ingredients. Available by pre-order with 24 hours' notice, the four-course surprise menu "PhantasTisch" showcases the chef’s passion for inventive plant-based cuisine, with the possibility of adding a fish or meat course. The wonderfully aromatic "vegetable essence" is always an optional extra. As an alternative to the set menu, there is an à la carte selection of French classics that boast impressive depth of flavour and character – standouts include the remarkably robust
